| Are left on base stats something that is stored anywhere? I've got this nasty feeling my team lacks a killer instinct with people on base, but I really don't want to trawl through 300 games to check manually if I can avoid it. |

| From what i am seeing the LOB stats from the game are for each batter and what that batter leaves on base after each at bat... not the entire team. Also there is the RISP indicator in the batting statistics that tells how clutch your batter is. | ||

| Yeah, RISP is a good measure for that. Your RISP is identical to your AVG, so your guys are performing exactly the same with batters on or off the bases. However, your division average has a RISP .027 points higher than AVG. So you are doing a decent amount worse than division average. But better than Bangor who's RISP is lower than their AVG. | We'd suggest that RISP in Broken Bat hovers around 10 points higher than batting average. If it's way over that or way under that, you may be experiencing a streak. | ||

| That's probably a good guess for a league wide average. But it depends a lot on your players and your competition. Haverhill doesn't have good clutch players anymore, so we are usually closer to even. I think our RISP has only broken +10 once in the last 5 seasons, and most of the time its been closer to +2. So far this season we are +3, which is pretty normal for us. | ||

| This is an old thread that interests me. LOB offense. Season Team LOB = Your Teams HITS + BB + HBP - RUNS SCORED This seems how it works in the box scores. So, my team's current stats divided by games played show my team at an avg of 7.86 per game, when I looked through last 8 games LOB My team averages 8.12 -- slackers! I have been trying to figure out if my management setting for bunting and Hit & Runs are correct. If you move that single to 2B then it is tracked by RISP Use Pitching numbers to find out how well your pitchers are doing. |

| Isn't that just random ? player do not have explicit clutch rating, but maybe there is an hidden tendency. | ||

| LOB offense. Season Team LOB = Your Teams HITS + BB + HBP - RUNS SCORED That will get you a close estimate but you are not accounting for things like double plays, caught stealing and throwing out runners who tag up from third etc You can have hits and walks, score zero runs and have zero LOB. |

| You are right. I did notice that daily LOB was shy a 1 or 2 and found that to be double plays. GIDP. LOB = Hits + BB + HBP - GIDP - RS CS is not left on base I may just be chasing a paper tiger. I have upped all my small ball calcs to get players to 2b and to get extra bases during hits but i am seeing nothing of note except a higher % of hit and run success but that is such a fickle play since its so situational.
