jbg Joined: 04/07/2026 Posts: 4 Bronx Yankees VI.31	How much trust do you put into the minor prospect ratings? I’ve found myself looking to the numerical rating of prospects to decide who gets the axe. Anyone think it’s a good reference point to assist in decisions? Or is scouting and potential still king?

Rock777 Joined: 09/21/2014 Posts: 10003 Haverhill Halflings Legends	Zero. Its a mistake to make cut decisions based on those. Steve has said they are just for fun. The rating is just based on total SI and age. So defensive geniuses who can't hit will be highly ranked. It doesn't account for good builds, or any performance.
