jclemen2 Joined: 11/22/2016 Posts: 203 Mount Prospect Skeletons III.1	In his final game of the Legends season, Reuben Douglas had 16 strikeouts in 8 2/3 IP. Just curious what the Legends single game strikeout record is, as well as the record for any league? He finished 2 Ks behind the team record for Legends with 225. Carlos Cano set our record in 2065 with 227. The 24yo Douglas had an amazing season despite a horrid year overall from the Skeletons. He went 14-16 with the losses generally being no fault of his own as he had 25 Quality starts. He was 1st in K's, with 2nd place trailing by 34. He led in IP, was 3rd in complete games, had 3 shutouts, and was top 10 in WHIP and ERA. Additionally he gained 14 skill points points this season (so far), starting at 105 and sitting at 119 SI currently. Updated Monday, September 15 2025 @ 11:49:23 am PDT

The admin dutifully added Game Logs IRL 5 years ago; strikeouts are easily viewable on the player cards. We're thankful for that. Anything greater than or equal to 12 strikeouts in an outing here in Broken Bat, to me, is a dominant performance.

Seca Joined: 05/05/2014 Posts: 5257 Waterloo Dinosaurs Legends	Romero was the best there ever was. The game reports from his hay day are gone. I would be surprised if he didn't reach those levels though. 332k in 2022 probably won't be touched. (Starting 41 games helped ).
