Hey everyone.

I made a small browser extension to add visual presentation to some values regarding player development. It should work in any chromium-based browser (Chrome, Brave etc.).

Maybe it would be useful for someone as well.

What it does:

On Roster Page:
Adds two new columns:
  1. eSI (Expected SI) - Shows the expected SI value of a player once they are fully developed, based on their current potential.
  2. potSI (Potential SI gains) - Displays the difference between the player's current SI and their expected SI.

Player Page
  • Green squares indicate the maximum value of each attribute based on the scouting report.
  • Numeric max values are displayed in parentheses next to each attribute.
  • Expected SI is shown in parentheses next to the potential rating.

What it doesn't do:
  • -predict development,
  • -collect, store or change any data,
  • -show any hidden game data.

Basically it just takes what there's already on the page and adds some based on custom values that you can change by yourself if needed.

You can disable roster page, players page or both in the popup.

Popup:

How to use:

1. Download the extention from GitHub at https://github.com/zimanable/Broken-Bat-Helper/
Click on the green Code button and choose Download ZIP.
Then unzip it to a folder on your computer.

2. Open your browser's extensions page (chrome://extensions for chrome) and enable Developer mode (switch or checkbox in the top right corner of the page).

3. Click the 'Load unpacked' button and select the folder where you unzipped the extension.

4. Check if it works. It can only work on the roster or a player pages, nowhere else.

Please, reply to this thread or send me a message if you happen to use it and find any bugs.

Cheers!

Pretty cool. I already kind of know those numbers by heart now, so I'm not using it right now.

The next step could be to add a customizable projection formula that people could plug in and show the projected final numbers for a player. Now that would be super useful!

This is pretty cool.

FYI your player page screenshot has a bug. Scouting report says 'not very fast', but max speed is listed as 13 rather than 7.
