The first half was miserable for us, but fortunately since the All-Star game we sort of figured things out and were playing winning ball. Hopefully that trend continues and so we might avoid relegation. A lot can happen yet.

Unbelievable bad luck. My pitching staff just got wrecked by injuries. Two key starters, and two of my better relievers - all at the same time. Never had this happen before. We'll be very fortunate if we can avoid relegation. Relegation wasn't even much of a concern until this happened. Oh well, as they say...what don't kill you, makes you stronger.

Hey ya'll.

Been a roller coaster so far for RK. Hot start was like a meteor, beautiful beginning that then proceeded to crash and burn. Now recently the team seems to have stabilized somewhat, for now.

I have not a clue if RK is a candidate to demote or promote. Probably both!

Let dreams be crushed!

If RK keeps playing us you'll not have much trouble. Four out of five from here out would probably get you a title.

Interleague play for the Cats has been rather brutal thus far. Speaking of roller coasters, just before IL started we had a very brief sniff of 1st place and since then we've been in free fall. Hopefully, we can turn things around or it's back to level 5.

See you again soon. Good luck.

Just another typical season in IV2!

RK on a nice run up to 2nd, but only one game separates 2nd-5th, and even 1st placed Appleton are only six games above 5th place.

In the East it looks like Stillwater are the favourites to take the division, and down the bottom - as mudcat and I discussed via PM! - it looks like one of New York or Columbia will go down, again. Waltham might make a late run but that's how it looks right now. Lancers do have the second-best division record (after the Stallions), but we'll see if that lasts during the run-in.

Good luck!

The Rind rippers are doing their best to own up to their run differential. Demotion is a haunting spectre far to close while promotion is a tantalizing dream just close enough to attain if the right moves are made.

Play ball!

All the excitement in IV.2 lies in the West. The Rind Rippers are not only safe from relegation, they're only one game out of first! Still, Lakeville and Appleton will square off ahead of them in a four-game series, so the advantage lies with them - and while the Bears have a far better RD than the Foxes, the Rippers RD is far better than both: a ridiculous 195 better than Appleton! At the bottom Cincinnati and Euclid will scrap to avoid the drop.

In the East, Stillwater already wrapped up the division, and New York scrambled to safety with a 2-2 split with last-placed Waltham, giving us a four-game lead over Columbia heading into the last three-game series against the Catfish - a huge relief for me, given their RD is much better. Sorry mudcat, went my way this time.

Congrats to Lakeville and Stillwater!

Thrilling end to the season! Happy to avoid demotion and left hungry for the pennant.

My first time checking this forum. So I have a question.
What is up with Lombard?

So they were Newport News, they started in my VI division when I began playing. They were a bot team. They just promoted in IV this season. A new player (1 month old) has taken them over at the very end of 2068.
He has inducted a 28 year old current player into their hall of fame, moved the team from Newport to Lombard, and has done nothing else.
-zero waivers
-zero FA
-zero draft picks.
no changes whatsoever, and he is dominating the east lol...
is this strange to anyone else?
