| Let’s take my WHIP leaderboard, for example. Rafael Benavidez is on the list at #11, despite being 68 innings short of the required 1,000. I can say with a very high degree of certainty that this is not caused by not having enough pitchers in DFB’s history who have pitched at least 1,000 innings, otherwise Gabriel Rizzo (1,983 innings, 1.508 WHIP) would be on there somewhere.
