Notes: Jakob came to the team during the dark years after a lot of our HOFers retired. One season Jakob was the only reliable bullpen arm out of MR and he was rode throughout the season. He then turned into a shut down closer over the next 3 seasons. Without him in the bullpen those four years, this team would have been much worse off. Unfortunately his skills declined as he got older, but those four seasons were phenomenal and enough to get him into the HOF.
