@ frank; An accurate assessment to say the least. Embarrassing.....

Kodiak ran the revolution through a guillotine. In fact it was a miracle that it wasn't a sweep.

Irvine made an incredible run through the end of the interleague games. Amazingly we haven't been completed drowned yet either, should be an interesting run through the final 50

Enjoyable series between league leader Redding Raiders and second place Kodiak Mules.

The Raiders stole one in the opener coming from behind for a 5-3 win.

In the second game, BigBoy Martin reminded everybody why he's the Mules's ace going all the way for a CGSO (a league leading 4th of the season).

In the rubber match, Kodiak's best ERA (Cedillo) faced Redding best starter (Capasso).
Mules manager "Boiled" Epps tried a sleigh of hand, filling the lineup with 9 LHH.
Cedillo took a perfect game into the 7th, only to blow it all and take the loss.

At the end of the series, the Mules are 2 games behind, but there's full confidence in our rotation, and in the young hitters who are earning their at-bats in high leverage games.
At the same time, we're looking forward for the old expensive hitters momentarily riding the pine to provide the team with an extra push to the promotion.

Congrats to Rebuilder, waiting for our next match up

Shout out to electriceel883 and Irvine Infernos for coming back from the Nether Realm to a comfortable 3th place in the West.

On their way up, Irvine obliged to be swept by Kodiak, but swept first place Redding today, for a grand total of 3½ games swing at the top.

Now, Mules areup by 2, magic number: 16.

It'll be fun!

Thanks Frankebasta,

Benefits of playing in the weaker division. Considered the team a dark horse at the beginning of the season. So pleasantly surprised how well they have played.

Good luck the rest of the way!

Being on top, even though slightly so, after the Head-to-Head series Kodiak needed to win out its remaining 7 games and so did they reaching 100 wins for only the third time in franchise history.

The Mules go back to League 2, and will play Pierre for the Pennant.

Thanks to Redding for providing competition in a tight race: it's been one of the most enjoyable seasons I've had in this game.

Wish you all the best in the next season.

Congrats @frankebasta on the Championship dub! Felt inevitable with the way Kodiak manhandled Pierre in the regular season. See you next season in II.2

Cheers!
