Congrats Freddy!

Haverhill really flagged at the end of the season, and we rolled right into the playoffs that way... At least for game #1, LOL.

I'll just be happy for my first Legends Division title :)

What an epic season. Probably my two most looked up to franchises battle out the Legends championship. Enough to make a boy smile. Grats you two. Wish I was there with ya!

Ouch. Apparently winning the division makes me lowest rated in the East, LOL.

Pierre Jacobins

Pierre is glad to be back in Legends East. But I tell you, doesn't look anymore welcoming than the last time around. If Pierre can avoid being demoted I will be tremendously thrilled!

Talent wise, the draft has been trickling in talent, but not enough to be any sort of powerhouse team, so reinforcements on the waivers will be priority. Any body that can swing the bat well. C, DH, and 1B spots are all wide open. Plenty of youngsters are clamoring for playing time but most are not that appealing potential wise to force regular spots in the line-up.

Hoping Garcia Has one more season as a solid starter at SS. Hoping Ortega's range at second will help mitigate Garcia's range decline. Lot's of hoping :)

Feng had almost a third of the team's errors last season at third, but the desperate need for power bats will probably have him starting as a full time third baseman again. Holland may get called up sometime mid-season and relieve some 3b duties.

Sanchez will move out of last season's platoon role into an everyday CF. Hoping his elite tier defense will off-set any struggle against lefty's.

Pitching should be ok, the starting staff looks like travel team level stuff compared to Bloomington's monstrosity of a staff. Salcedo will start the season as a starter. The bullpen will see a LOT of innings, and will hopefully (see, its a theme) be a strength if Pierre has any shot of being remotely competitive. Valentin has been regularly in the CY young voting as a reliever for multiple seasons now.

Cheers and good luck!

Nice to see the Jacobins back for another swing.
The east looks like it's going to be a dogfight.

Tombstone still has some work to do if we want to have a shot at defending the west. We have just 40 on the roster so lots of room if we can find legends worthy help. The west looks like it will be a little tighter top to bottom this season.

Rock..nice to see you on the champions page..well deserved.

It's...HERE.

The moment we've all been waiting for...

...and once that moment passes, it's time for PSF's 2074 Legends Predictions and Court-Ordered Community Service League Awards! You should know by now, but if you don't, I have a state-of-the-art, diesel-powered, Apple II PC that I enter all of our league information onto that sweet green screen and just hours later, the dot-matrix printer fires up and spits out the results. From there, I use the "old farm rooster" method of choosing winners and losers. Basically, the blind rooster fumbles around and chooses our standing for the year.

Science!

Don't question the method, it's been 100% correct for like, ever.

West Hitter Ratings
RC 181.07
BUR 179.35
OV 178.03
MES 176.71 (West Mesa is famous for an abandoned mall. East Mesa is famous for an active mall. Fascinating.)
TSN 173.40
FHL 163.96

West Pitcher Ratings
RC 162.99
FHL 160.81 (nothing says "West" like a Detroit suburb)
TSN 159.48
MES 151.75
OV 142.65
BUR 141.61

West Predicted Order of Finish
RC 344.06 (why does a town named "RC" have a Coca-Cola plant?)
TSN 332.88
MES 328.46
FHL 324.77
BUR 320.96
OV 320.68

Congratulations to Natedawg17 on winning the West and promoting to Super-Secret Ultra Legends League!

East Hitter Ratings
EPR 182.07
MEM 181.91
HP 174.70
BLO 173.06
PIE 167.97
HAV 166.08 (the land Haverhill sits on was bought for $3.10 in 1642. Slightly more than what it's worth today.)

East Pitcher Ratings
EPR 188.03
BLO 179.21
MEM 163.59 (first explored by Hernando de Soto in 1541. I assume he established the automobile company of the same name in 1928. I will not do the math.)
HP 152.24
PIE 149.45
HAV 146.71

East Predicted Order of Finish
EPR 370.10 (16th largest city in MN. What an amazing accomplishment)
BLO 352.27
MEM 345.50
HP 326.94
PIE 317.42
HAV 312.79

Boltsman has won the East! Everyone else can go home.

And if I had to predict the Championship Series, I'll go with the lower-rated RC club, since that's just the way things work out here.

Welp, any minute now Steve will give away the trophies and we'll turn to 2075.
