Philliesworld Joined: 10/17/2014 Posts: 841 Pierre Jacobins Legends	2074 All Star Break has come and gone! Pierre didn't send a lot of talent to the mid-summer classic. Whitson gains his second all-star nod, bit of a surprise he got selected. And Carranza an off-season waiver addition also got selected. Also thrilled to be in the mix for a pennant race, but even more importantly, to not be in the relegation zone. Something we want to keep that way here at the Pierre front office. Cheers!

Rock777 Joined: 09/21/2014 Posts: 10003 Haverhill Halflings Legends	Haverhill finally slid a few spots, but pretty happy given we have 4 young developing pitchers in the rotation (3 Starting and 1 LR).\ 21 year old rookie, Burrrows looks the most promising. Should develop into a top half of the rotation Starter. 22 year old rookie, Bryson spent last week in AAA after a pretty disappointing first half of the year. Nice minor's numbers, but struggling a bit with the jump to majors. 24 year old rookie, Ruiz has been making solid progress in the LR position. Midseason pickup, 24 year old Cano has shown some potential. Its possible all four of these young pitchers become the remainder of the starting staff behind our ace, 26 year old Juan Arroyo next season. Updated Saturday, July 4 2026 @ 7:27:47 pm PDT

Philliesworld Joined: 10/17/2014 Posts: 841 Pierre Jacobins Legends	With just a little over a dozen games left to play Pierre needs a lot of things to go right to win the east pennant. There's still a reasonable chance but it's an uphill battle. Since interleague came to an end the Thunder have been on a, well, thunderous roll. While my club has been middling at best. A pro-longed injury to one of our hot starting pitchers and multiple injuries to Whitson, who's the heart of the line-up, hasn't made matters better. Not that having them healthy would have made a huge difference. The offense largely went limpid since intra league resumed and the pitching ERA has risen slightly. And those goddamn errors that have plagued this defense all season are as bad as ever. The amount of unearned runs is probably one of the highest ever for a team I've managed. Didn't check just a feeling.
