It's time for the 2073 report! This is the Paramount Trout Catchers first full season as the Trout Catchers as the owner renamed the team after owning them for 6 months! It has been 6 months since the Spokane Valley Grizzlies relocated to become the Paramount mountaineers and won their first division since 2045! We modeled our logo after the native rainbow trout and have a new mascot Fishy the Trout.

Paramount is the favourite to win the division this year.

Paramount had 2 players selected to play in the world classic. Petar for team Croatia and Toshio for team Japan and congrats to Cuba for winning it all. We promoted one of our top prospects James English the australien star crushed triple AAA and is now making his debut. We have also seen the flourishement of Puerto Rican prospects as another of the team's top Aaron Cornejo has made it to double aa and he is 20 years old and is expected to make the majors by this year. Armando Almante (another puerto rican) has been promoted to the majors. KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK! Do you here that? A prospect is knocking. This years 1st round pick is Rene Melendez (also Puerto Rican) and he quickly became the clubs no 1# prospect and is only 17 but is suspected to make the majors in 1 year. We struck gold.

PARAMOUNT NEWS

We congragulate Petar and Toshio's selectment to the world classic, Petar representing Croatia, Toshio representing Japan. For the 10th time Croatia has made it! (Finally). By the way congrats to USA for the incredible wins against Mexico, Dominican, Canada and other tough competitors. Paramount after getting knocked back down to VI.9 league is ready to win again! The teams pitching noted as a sign of weakness, we have made some big moves. We started by releasing Freeman who is a good manager (give him a call he has amazing player devellopement). However his pitching devellopment, fielding devellopment and how he handles pitchers was not enough. So we got the much better, very expensive, one of the best managers in all of broken bat Damon Harris who cost 7.20 m but is a great manager and will definatly improve pitching. We released Kevin Watanabe who was a very good pitcher in the past but he was to expensive and to bad modern day. So to replace him we got an absolute steal: Bernardo Barraza, a 33 year old pitcher who cost 0.55 million, and is way better and cheaper then Watanabe was. We also released Joel Callahan and replaced him with player Mason Garrison. We then released another player and promoted pitcher Kenny Riese. We then released another pitcher and promoted Bernardo Cortes. We released Calvin Kirkland and signed Robert Lusk.

Jersey color change for 2071: The team embraces a new teal color for the jersey that will be more lively than the plain black and white original.

First Game of the Season: Paramounts first game of the season will be a one at home against the Colorado Springs Vultures. Make sure to stop by the gift shop!

April 16th Goofy day!: On this date fans are encouraged to wear their goofiest clothes, act goofy and sing goofy.

Today we celebrate are favorite song that we play every seventh inning if we are winning you know it you love it- Sweet Caroline!

July 1st Mountaineers Day:
On this day show how much you love Paramounts one and only team!

Today are all stars will show those easterns whose boss! We are the west!

July 30th Poodle Day:
Today we celebrate poodles! Owner Was Arnold Sup loves poodles, "Poodles will help Paramount win," He says while stroking his pet poodle, Rally who is one of the teams mascot. So bring your poodle and have some fun!

August 26th Bring your dog day: To celebrate the national day of our favorite pets, you can bring your pooch to the game! Make sure to pet one of Paramounts mascots, the rally poodle on your way out.

September 9th California day: On this date we celebrate all things California!

Mar 30 2071: A+ for the Aussie - by Wassup on October 8th, 2025

The first Australian ever drafted first round for Paramount has joined the squad. James English has incredible potential. He is a catcher. He is an 2# prospect, and is playing on the Double A Cave Springs Grizzlies team. English is very skilled. He is also able to play shortstop. He is Paramounts future.

Paramount also with the loss of Juan Jauregai has made some major free agency moves. Paramount signed pitchers Joel Callahan and Jorge Cisneros. Over the years pitching was not Paramounts main problem, as the pitchers were the best in the league. No, its the offense. As the only all star last year who was not a pitcher was Petar Erzisnik. Paramount may exceed this year. And we need to.

THE PARAMOUNT NEWS

The Paramount Mountaineers have began the new year. As their second official season in the city of Paramount. New major renovations have begun due to the team being promoted to the V.5 league. However not just the stadium has forseen some major reno's. Juan Jauregai, who played excellent last season earning a all star appearance. However losing a ton of skill going from a 99 overall to a 93 overall. He was also asking for a whopping 3.25 million paycheck. Croatian player Petar Erzisnik and Nigerian player Olusegun Balogun have been selected to play on their national teams. The Paramount Mountaineers announce the years new calender: Jan 30, Get dressed nice and warm and come over to the field for the day Paramount was incorporated. Mar 1, The first day of spring training. March 27, League opening day. June 14, Free signatures from ex-mountaineer Cliff Summers.
July 11, Nations for Mountaineers Baseball day the year old organiztaion created to promote baseball in other nations. Olusegun and Petar come in and as reprisentives for international baseball. Good day to all of you; lets go Mountaineers.

Paramount fans celebrate as it is the first time since 2034 that the team has a leauge postseason appearance. This also guarantees for the first time since 2044 to be promoted and to leave the VI.9. The city of Paramount has definatley proved its worth, as the city shall be the home of mountaineers baseball forever. As his first year, owner Wassup is ectstatic. Speaking of which Mr. Wassup himself has announced tomorrow is Mountaineers day, as everyperson who shows up gets a free bobblehead of whatever player they want.
