Jan 13 2065: Exceeding Expectations - by Addimgp on June 16th, 2024

Home Grown Rochester Hills exceeded expectations last season by winning the Division and gaining a promotion up to League III.4. GM Addimgp said "We are so excited with this promotion and are hopefully up to the challenge of this higher level with its much better competition. It is even more urgent now than ever before that our prospects in our system develop quickly so that we can continue to play at this competitive level."

When asked if he thought any of the current AAA crop were ready for the big leagues he said "We are proud of our home grown farm system and its development over these past 6 seasons. As to whether or not any of them are ready to step up to the big leagues will be up to them and their continued improvement. This years Spring Training may be the most important one we have had to date if we are to maintain the level of play we have become accustomed to in Rochester Hills."

Asked about the stadium expansion and whether it would be completed on time for the Home Opener Addimgp stated "The stadium expansion is progressing right on schedule and should be ready by Opening Day. We will be able to hold more fans this season with stadium capacity increasing to 36,000 and season ticket sales are better than they have ever been in the history of the Tigers franchise. This ball club and it's fanbase are very excited for the beginning of the 2065 season."

Sep 21 2058: New Ownership - by Addimgp on February 26th, 2023

The Rochester Hills Samurai franchise has been sold to new ownership. Addimgp has taken over the neglected franchise and is developing a 5 year plan to promote to Level V. The first order of business was to fire manager Bert Nash and replace him with Miguel Montoya who shall stress teaching the fundamentals to improve the play in Rochester Hills.

Rochester Hills ownership plans on not using free agency or waivers to improve the major league ball club but will only use the player draft to acquire players in the future. GM Addimgp told the media during today's press conference "we may decide to use waivers to stock our depleted farm team so that we can bring players up to replace retiring players but we will only use our farm system to stock our major league team going forward."

"We realize the challenge this gives our team and our fanbase to improve our ball club and move up through the Broken Bat levels so we ask for your continued support of management and players as we go through this process."

Mar 17 2022: Franchise Change - by Nukes on April 4th, 2015

IF you noticed, what happened to the Spartans, you'd be called observant. Now, we are the Rochester Hills Wolverines. This is a change from a ridiculous name, in the Tigard Tigers. It is childish. Also, we are a bit tired of being associated with Tigard. We are going for a new city, and in this case, Rochester Hills, CA, works. Also, the name Wolverines makes us sound badass. Also, we dropped many franchise players. This is not due to the change, it is due to a drop in money. We are trying to conserve money.
