Oct 30 2071: Panthers win Championship - by ccdiorite on December 3rd, 2025The Pontiac Panthers have defeated the Boca Raton Gulls 4-1 in the Division IV.8 Championship Series.
The Panthers pitching staff shut down the Gulls with a paltry 1.60 ERA during the series. The offense was led by Lenny Braun and Ruben Carrillo. In limited action Braun had 6 hits in only nine at bats while collecting 3 RBI's. Carrillo batted .450 in the series hitting 2 HR's and also leading the team with 4 RBI's. The team now looks forward to next season and a new set of rivals in a higher division.

The Pontiac Panthers swept the Brewer Ravens 4 games to none in the V.16 Divisional Playoffs. The Panthers hitters were led by PJ Sala who hit .467 in the series and got 2 POTG awards for his efforts. Panthers pitching was also excellent in the series, with an Average ERA of just 1.75. The Panthers look forward to advancing to division IV next season as they continue to develop their minor league players. Good Luck to everyone in the new season.
