Apr 03 2020: Giambi Juice - by Spoonerific on October 30th, 2014

It's insanely early but the 5-2 Devils are amped up for long season... of the long ball?

Even with the retirement of Hammerin' Wayne Melton the teams all time leader in HRs http://brokenbat.org/player/46664/L they have seemed to increased their power output.

Bench coach Lou Sapphire has stated that it is due to him not changing his socks this season but sources in the organization have state he hasn't changed clothes 'in a few seasons'.

Another thought has been tossed about...

"On dat Juice?" was the response from catcher Fujimoto who leads the team with 2 HRs, one behind his career high (3) set a year ago. "What the duece is juice?"

"I have some purple stuff in my bag, is that what you are speaking of? You want some, bruh?"

Aug 25 2019: Evolution of Mediocrity (D.I.R.M.) - by Spoonerific on September 20th, 2014

After season upon seasons of middling play, the Devils are taking a new approach. Their GM calls this approach the, "Does It Really Matter" scheme.

Scouting reports, DIRM!
Batting, pitching... base running, DIRM!
Cause in the end we'll end up in 3rd or 4th place no matter what we do so DIRM!
