Apr 25 2072: A Welcome Day of Rest - by seabear on December 30th, 2025

The '72 Tigers are rolling, but the schedule has been unrelenting. From April 4th through the 24th, Detroit had at least one game every day, and twice played a doubleheader. The stretch started shakily, as the team was 2-6 between the 5th and the 11th. Then, 2065 first round pick Doug Bartlett turned his season around with a quality start as the Tigers squeaked out a 4-3 league win which sparked a 5-game winning streak. After a win sandwiched by two losses, the squad has run off another 6 straight victories highlighted by Bartlett's 1 hit complete game shutout, the first in the league this season. The 23 games in 21 days were kicked off by Keandre Woods hitting for the cycle while going 5-for-5. With a record of 15-8 over this marathon, the Tigers are well positioned in both the cup and the league. The near and far future are bright in Detroit!

Oct 22 2071: 2071 Season In Brief - by seabear on November 30th, 2025

Over the past two seasons, the Tigers won promotion to level V and then compiled a winning record and avoided relegation. The franchise had never accomplished this from the beginning of the ownership era in season 2013. Detroit also had the V.2 league leaders in OPS and ERA. The Tigers were competitive for the pennant into September before suffering an 11 game losing streak that dashed their hopes of promotion to IV. Disappointed but undeterred, the organization will try again in 2072 to make franchise history and reach the fourth tier.
