Nicolás "El Cotillo" Cedillo Inducted into Fishers Rebels HOF -
by King_Kobra1 on January 24th, 2026
Nicolás "El Cotillo" Cedillo was a 1st Baseman from Puerto Rico and is known for being one of the greatest Fishers Rebels of All Time. Originally drafted by the Denver Broncos, he struggled in the Minors and was perturbed by injuries throughout his early years. In 2047, Cedillo was signed by the Rebels where he had a breakout season, winning Rookie of the Year, but was derailed due to injury. After 1 more injury-riddled season, El Cotillo had one of the Greatest seasons in Fishers Rebels History. With a 1.070 OPS and 51 Homers hit in 150 games, Cedillo got his first All-star, All-League appearance, and only MVP of his career. He also led the Fishers Rebels to their 2nd League Championship, their first coming in his rookie season (and 3rd year of existence). In the following years, Cedillo acquired 4 consecutive All-Stars and 1 more All-league Appearance, before his career petered out. Nicolás spent 5 more years in the league between multiple teams, including an All-star appearance with the Florissant Falcons in 2056, before retiring in 2057. He retired with a career OPS of .882, 365 homers, and 1127 RBI. He is first on the Fishers All-time Slugging, Homers, OPS, and Game MVPs.
