Apr 24 2072: 500!!! - by Bennett11 on December 30th, 2025

35 yr old closer Robert Fraser picked up is 500th save the other night for the pirates. A accomplishment that truly might never be touched on our team again as he continues to pitch incredible year after year. The pirates are 13-7 and continue to make a push for promotion with a great early start to the year, go buccos!!!

Oct 22 2071: End of an era - by Bennett11 on November 30th, 2025

After a disappointing 75-85 season, the pirates will be demoted. Manager Gavin Jenkins will return for year 3 on a short leash. A positive was 1B Rangel tieing our franchise single season home run record with 40. But as the season closed the pirates received the news they feared, Ivan Daley is retiring. Both he and 1B Jose Luis alaya will be inducted into the hall.

Daley, 36 has been a catcher/DH for 14 seasons, our team leader and at one point made 12 straight all star games. Is in the top 5 of every major franchise career records besides HR (9th), over 2,000 career hits and was widely respected throught the organization. Our best seasons rode on his coattails and he showed what true dominance at his position was. We have found his successor for now in 27 yr old C Reyes, but nobody can fill his void for our organization. We wish him the best and hope he can rejoin the team in some aspect in the future.

Sep 28 2071: Dominance - by Bennett11 on November 24th, 2025

82 pitch 1 hit complete game shutout from Alan Kirk against the New York lancers. 2nd of the season, and one of our few bright preformances this season.

Jul 16 2071: All star - by Bennett11 on November 6th, 2025

Sitting at 35-45, this new era is abt to begin, and we’re falling into a rebuild, yet we only had 1 all star rep

SP Alan Kirk (29) is 6-5 through 14 starts and 90 innings in his first season with us, he has a 2.40 ERA as well. He leads a pitching staff that’s carrying this horrible offense and is keeping us somewhat relevant. Most of our guys are having just bad years, but he’s been consistent. We look to continue to improve and stay in our division to avoid a demotion. Here’s a look at his page
