After a most disappointing, terrible start (14-27) to the 2039 season, the club gives manager Rob Thomas his walking papers. This move has turned out to be a highly controversial decision. Thomas, in his 9th season with the club, has never had a losing record. In 2032 he was 80-80, but that's the worse they've done under Thomas. He is much loved and respected by both players and fans.
The new manager, Curtis Lynn, has 14 years experience with a combined record of 888-932, leaving many people scratching their heads. Donny Baseball, team owner, said, "Lynn has the experience we need right now. He knows how to get losing teams back on the winning path." I guess time will tell.
