Grand Blanc Vikings Announce Relocation to Blacksburg, Virginia; Team to Rebrand as the Blacksburg Falcons
GRAND BLANC, Mich. — The Grand Blanc Vikings organization today announced that the franchise will relocate to Blacksburg, Virginia, effective immediately. As part of the transition, the team will adopt a new identity and compete under the name Blacksburg Falcons beginning with the upcoming season.
The decision follows an extensive review of the organization’s long-term strategic objectives, competitive outlook, and access to excellent barbecue.
