Oct 30 2072: What a great game! - by Hitmen on February 17th, 2026I just wanted to say I’m surprised myself to be 2072 Legends Champion. The Rancho Cucamonga Ragamuffins had an awesome season. A 103 win season, a pitcher with a 23-3 record, sure to be MVP. Just an incredibly strong team overall. As for my season, I thought after the first fifty games I might get relegated. I went 21-29 entering inter league. The entire East division was very tough. I think every team was still in it with twenty games to play. What I’ve learned playing this awesome game that Steve created, is it will drive you crazy at times, & other times it will bring so much enjoyment. That’s the beauty of it. I love all the ways we can build our teams, whether offensive or defensive. The luck involved with the draft. The freedom to customize our parks to our teams abilities. For me this game has brought so much enjoyment & it hasn’t been about winning or losing. It’s been about building a strong team and competing against other strong teams in this great community!

The St Joseph Hitmen capped off their 102 win season, with a thrilling game seven playoff victory over Cypress Cougars! The GM for the Hitmen had this to say about the teams amazing season. “In a season where we started the year bringing in six true rookies, four in the field & two to the pitching staff, we really weren’t sure how this season would go. We thought maybe we could finish around .500. In a division that has a lot of really good teams, we just outperformed all expectations.” Now it’s time to RAISE THE BANNER & POP THE CHAMPAGNE!!!

Jamie Gagne of the St Joseph Hitmen throws a perfect game! The 27 outs came on just 94 pitches. The historic win takes Gagne to 4-0 on the season. This season he has battled though some injuries, but appears to be just fine now.

After going 111-49 in the regular season, The Hitmen defeated the Strongsville Prowlers in six games to win the title! After clinching the title, manager Rickey Ryan said “After finishing in second place with 86 wins in 2053, and second place again in 2054 with 99 wins, I knew this was going to be a special season. It didn’t start out that way though, as we started the season 20-17. After that everything just clicked for this team and I couldn’t be prouder of these guys!”.
