Jan 20 2025: Fort Smith under new management - by Crunchtime on November 8th, 2015

Fort Smith, Arkansas (AP) - In an surprising move, GM Crunchtime has left the Palmdale Pirates organization to join the Fort Smith Trojans. Information from a source close to Crunchtime stated that as GM, he felt he had accomplished what he had set out to do and wanted a new challenge with a new team.

Fort Smith would seem to fit the bill with recent financial issues having reportedly bordered on bankruptcy. They have been renamed to the Fort Smith Pheonix and Crunchtime has already made several cost-cutting moves in the offseason.

Fort Smith finished with a 53-107 record last year. Crunchtime has a record of 1080-680 (.629 %) in 11 full seasons with Palmdale, ending Rank 21 nationwide.
